I was recently sent a couple of Perfectly Posh samples because I had never tried Posh before. In fact, I had never HEARD of Posh before! I was sent a sample of the Snarky bar and the Sassyooma Big Fat Yummy Hand Cream and I immediately fell in love. I fell so in love that I decided to join Posh and become a consultant. Check out my consultant website http://www.perfectlyposh.com/VictoriaD
The Snarky Bar is a best seller for Posh. It is an exfoliating bar that works amazingly. It is kind of like a bar of soap but it is filled with little tiny scrubby pieces that take off your dead skin while making you smell amazing. I used it once and was able to see and feel a noticeable difference in my skin. I had been using a salt scrub prior and I felt like it wasn’t doing anything and once I used the Snarky bar I knew I was right. A lot of dead skin came off my arms and after applying some lotion my skin felt softer than it ever has before. This is a definite must have for everyone.
The Sassyooma Big Fat Yummy hand cream smelled delicious. When I opened the little sample lacon it smelled like I cut into a fresh, ripe grapefruit. I personally love the smell of grapefruits so this was a big plus for me. I am not a fan of hand cream at all. It makes me feel greasy and disgusting, or it is sticky. I just usually can’t stand it so I don’t use it unless I absolutely have to. However, the Big Fat Yummy hand creams are different from the other hand creams I’ve used in the past. It did not feel greasy at all. It melted into my skin and absorbed so nicely it was almost like I hadn’t put anything on at all. It made my hands so soft and they felt so nice even after washing the dished. I only needed a tiny amount to make my hands feel soft and gentile again. I definitely think this is also a must have, especially when the winter months roll around.
If you want to try some posh samples shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment here. I would love it if you would check out my consultant website as well!
I absolutely love this moisturizer. I have tried many facial moisturizers, and this is the best one I have found. I have very acne prone skin and this doesn’t make me break out like other moisturizers do.
You only need a tiny bit to cover your entire face. I use about half a pump for my entire face. With this product, a little bit goes a long way, which is good because it is a bit pricey. It is $14.99 for one bottle, but I found mine at big lots for $4! I was super excited when I saw it so I had to try it. I’m dreading the day I have to repurchase though, because my big lots only had it for a very short period of time.
This is about the amount I use.
The top comes off to reveal a pump. The pump is very easy to use, and it puts out about double what is shown on my hand. It isn’t a very thick formula, and it is very easy to spread on your skin.
Luckily for everyone, the product is made with natural ingredients, and it absorbs very quickly into the skin. I would definitely recommend that you purchase this product, especially since we are in the middle of winter and the cold can really do a number on your skin.
I look forward to trying more “Yes to” products. I have tried a few and I have loved every single one of them. If you are looking for a makeup remover, a facial towelette, a face wash, or a lip balm, they have a wonderful variety of them, and I have tried one of each of those products. If you want a review on any of those let me know and I will post one.

I had a lot of lip favorites in 2013. They ranged from high end to drug store and everything in between.
For lip glosses my favorites were be a bombshell in hot mess, juice beauty in champagne,
Urban Decay(UD) lip junkie in midnight cowboy, Revlon beyond natural in rosy, and lip smacker in Sheree’s sweet sugar baby.
My favorite balms were cailyn in big apple, NYC applelicious in pink lady, electro baby lips in pink shock, and Palmers cocoa butter in original. I also really like the lip balms I make myself, those are my all time favorites. I didn’t post a picture here though.
I used a lot of lip pencil and crayon products this year. My favorites were be a bombshell in shameless, elf matte lip color in rich red, elf prime and plump,
UD super saturated high gloss lip color in glinda and Theodora. Sadly I don’t have a big enough sharpener for these so I haven’t been able to use them in a while.
My favorite lipsticks were Revlon lip butter in lollipop, cover girl natureluxe in tulip and peony, and nyx extra creamy round lipsticks in doll and peach.
Peach isn’t shown because I can’t find it, and I think they discontinued the natureluxe. If they are still selling natureluxe let me know because I love them and I definitely would like to buy extras.
If you want a review of any of these things let me know and I will write one. If you want to see more favorites posts tell me how often I should post them, if I get enough I might post them.
I didn’t have a lot of favorites in this category because I dont use a ton of facial products.
My favorite face powder was definitely without a doubt the rimmel stay matte in translucent. I tried a few different powders in 2013 but this was by far my favorite. I have significantly hit pan, as you can see, and I use it every day.
For my cheek favorites I have two blushes and one highlighter. I really love nyx blushes, especially the mocha one (in picture) which I use almost every day. You really can’t beat the quality for the price. I also really like the be a bombshell blush in sweet cheeks. It is a little pricy but I received it in an ipsy bag.
For the highlighter I really loved benefits sun beam. I only have a mini one that I got in a kit, but I still have a lot left.
Out of all the concealers I used in 2013 my two favorites were the elf concealer and the sally Hansen fast fix concealer.
Last but not least a primer and BB cream. I got a lot of primers and BB creams in ipsy bags and in makeup orders as samples in 2013. I decided to purchase a tarte set over the summer and it came with a BB cream (amazonian clay) and a primer.
These two things were staples in my summer makeup routine and I absolutely love them.
I decided that the next few posts I make are going to be my favorites from the year. I broke this up into three categories: eyes, lips, and face. Please excuse any mistakes I make, I wanted to be able to put pictures in this so I am using my phone.
At the end of 2012 I discovered Urban Decay(UD) and instantly became obsessed with it. I use so many Urban Decay things on a daily basis that you will see quite a few of those products in here.
During 2013 I became a big fan of palettes. Four of my favorite ones I bought from UD. I have loved my naked, Theodora, glinda, and mariposa palettes.
As far as drug store and inexpensive eye shadows I really liked Elf brightening eye color quad in brunette, rimmel London glam eyes in English oak,and Maybelline eye studio cream shadows in rose revolution.
I also really liked the UD deluxe shadows in Honey and Ransom. There are reviews of both of those on here in the eyeshadow section if you want to check those out.
I tried UD eyeliners and fell in love. I pretty much only use these now as far as eyeliner. My three favorites were electric, perversion, and zero. I didn’t take a picture of zero, but there is a review of it on here.
My two favorite mascaras were benefit they’re real and bare minerals lash domination. I only have sample sizes but they have lasted a really long time.
Out of all the primers I have tried the UD primer is my favorite eye primer ever. Even working outside in the summer it kept my eye makeup looking like I just put it on. I have a review of this on here.
If you want me to review any of the products I mentioned let me know. Also, if you want to see more favorites posts on here let me know, I wouldn’t mind doing a monthly or quarterly favorites or something like that.
Sadly, my SD card went missing out of my computer so all of the pictures I took for this post are gone. If you want to know about what happened to my SD card, go visit my other blog. Hopefully I can get a new one soon to add the pictures to this.
This is a matte lipstick in deep redish-pink shade. It definitely lives up to “extra creamy.” It glides on amazingly smooth, but it is so pigmented that you have to either use a brush or blot it out with some tissues.
Usually I apply it to the middle of my lips and spread it out to the corners with my finger or a lip brush. If I don’t do that, it tends to smudge and be a bit messy. I like how creamy it is, but it means you have to take time to apply it instead of just slapping it on.
I have other lipsticks from this line, and the shimmery ones are not nearly as creamy as this one. I would definitely say if you are looking for something you can just put on without much effort you should go with a more shimmery shade like peach (which is not peach colored at all). It is still extremely pigmented, but not as messy.
Overall, this lipstick is absolutely amazing. Any lipstick from this line is well worth the money, and in my opinion they could be charging a lot more for these because they are that good. For $4, you can not beat the quality of these. If you were thinking about getting one, don’t hesitate, they are amazing.
Pictures will be up when I get a new SD card, but you can purchase the product here, and if you want to see it, click here.

I have very mixed feelings about this product. There are things I like about it and things I don’t like about it, but I’ll start with the things I like.
This shade is really natural. It is a champagne, glittery shade. It is very glossy. It looks really good on the lips alone, and it also works well with some lipsticks. The gloss has a citrus smell with a very slight hint of vanilla.
My lips with out the gloss
My lips with the gloss
As you can see, there is a very suddle difference. If you like suddle glosses, this gloss is for you. It lasts for a few hours, which is unusual for me when it comes to glosses. I also really like the shape of the applicator. NYC lip glosses tend to have really nice applicators.
I don’t like the consistency of this gloss. It is very sticky, though that usually isn’t a problem for me, for some reason this gloss just bothers me. If I am drinking something and the liquid touches the gloss on my lips, it turns really slimy feeling. I don’t know why that happens, but I don’t like it.
I play the oboe and while I play I can’t wear lip products or it will ruin my reeds. Since I have band 2nd period, I have to wipe off whatever I have on my lips before class. When you try to wipe off this gloss it leaves a very sticky residue on your lips. For some reason this gloss is extremely hard to get off of your lips.
If you want a gloss that is sticky and will last a long time, you should probably try this. It is really inexpensive, around $3-$5, and it really does have lasting ability. I will probably continue to use this gloss after band, but once I finish it I wont purchase it again.
Good news, I will be posting reviews every Tuesday and Thursday! I hope everyone is as excited as I am! Sadly, I spent a lot of time without posting a review, but in that time I purchased and received a lot of products I DO want to review. If you have a product you want to see a review of, let me know. Later this week I will update the list of upcoming reviews to include what I am going to be reviewing in the upcoming weeks. I will put them in order they will be reviewed in. A lot of the products are lip products, so for a while expect to see a lip review once a week. For the next three weeks it is going to be on Tuesday, but after that I might switch it up.
